As a Service Technician, HVAC, you will play a key role in maintaining the comfort, safety, and functionality of our community. This role focuses heavily on HVAC diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance while also supporting general maintenance operations throughout the property.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience in residential, commercial, or multifamily environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, safety standards, and preventative maintenance practices
  • EPA Certification preferred
  • Experience with general apartment maintenance preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance tasks daily

Nice To Haves

  • CAMT or CPO certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems including split systems, package units, stacked units, centralized systems, and heat pumps
  • Troubleshooting electrical and control failures, airflow deficiencies, refrigeration and cooling issues, and condensate or water management concerns
  • Performing preventative HVAC maintenance to ensure system safety and efficiency
  • Responding to service requests and emergency maintenance calls in a timely manner
  • Managing refrigerants in compliance with EPA standards
  • Performing general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and painting
  • Preparing apartment homes for new residents with quality workmanship and attention to detail
  • Maintaining grounds, common areas, and GOZones to company standards
  • Accurately documenting work orders and maintenance updates within company systems
  • Delivering exceptional resident service through professional and courteous communication
  • Following all OSHA, safety, and company procedures
