About The Position
Point North Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to and complete residential service requests, prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status, and maintain grounds and common areas. This role requires a proactive approach to resolving maintenance issues and providing excellent customer service to residents.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of apartment or general maintenance experience preferred
- Experience with apartment turns and make-readies
- Basic plumbing repair skills (toilets, faucets, disposals, drain clogs)
- Basic electrical repair skills (outlets, switches, light fixtures, GFCIs)
- Experience repairing appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, microwaves)
- Skilled in drywall repair, painting, flooring, and general carpentry
Nice To Haves
- Basic HVAC knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely manner
- Paint and pick up grounds
- Painting
- Resolve maintenance issues in the area of A/C, electrical, sheetrock repairs, plumbing and appliance repair
- Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
- Cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
- Provide residents with outstanding customer service
