About The Position
Totally Kids Specialty Health Care is a small pediatric sub-acute hospital with 45 patients. The Maintenance Technician/Driver maintains and upkeep of the facility’s buildings, equipment, fixtures, safety, and utility systems, and transports staff and residents. The position performs required maintenance and groundskeeping, inspects campus areas for safety, maintains vehicles, documents maintenance work, and operates facility vehicles as needed.
Requirements
- Current California driver’s license.
- Current automobile insurance at all times.
- Clean driving record sufficient for coverage under company insurance to transport residents.
- Mechanical skills to diagnose and perform repairs to buildings, fixtures, and equipment.
Nice To Haves
- One year of maintenance experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Perform duties and tasks outlined in the maintenance policy and procedure manual.
- Maintain the grounds, buildings, fixtures, and utility systems as required.
- Conduct periodic safety inspections of all campus areas and report findings and corrections to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Perform or schedule required maintenance for vehicles owned and operated by the facility.
- Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks completed.
- Operate facility vehicles to transport residents and staff and for other indicated purposes.
