About The Position

CLK Multifamily Management, LLC is seeking a Certified Maintenance Technician with apartment maintenance experience. The ideal candidate is hardworking, takes pride in their work, and is eager to join the CLK Culture. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to manage time effectively to work independently and meet property goals.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance.
  • All certifications required by federal, state, and local law.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • HVAC License.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening.
  • Proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks, ensuring compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations regarding hazardous materials.
  • Monitor the condition of the apartment property and promptly address any unsafe conditions.
  • Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment, and maintain tools in excellent condition.
  • Be aware of utility meter cut-offs, apartment and fixture cut-offs, and sewer cleanouts.
  • Perform work area clean-up and safety-related duties.
  • Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair involving electrical and plumbing, A/C and heating systems, appliances, irrigation systems, stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings, tile, carpet, flooring, roofing, gutters, fasteners, fireplaces, ceiling fans, gas fixtures and appliances, shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors, boilers, locks, security systems, ceiling leaks, walls, and pool areas.
  • Inspect and coordinate make-ready repairs and services, assisting make-ready staff as needed.
  • Report all major repairs and needed requisitions to the Maintenance Supervisor and manager before any expenditure.
  • Change locks and make keys.
  • Transfer heavy appliances and equipment as needed.
  • Assist in moving abandoned furniture and appliances.
  • Maintain knowledge of inventory levels for spare parts and supplies and inform the Maintenance Supervisor of shortages.
