Our team is growing, and we are looking for talented individuals like you! This Maintenance Technician position is located at College Park and River View at Bexley Apartments in Columbus, OH. The scheduled hours are Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5pm, with an on-call rotation. The pay rate is $24-28/hour, plus commissions, incentives, and bonus potential. The company is looking for someone with 1+ year in multi-family residential maintenance, HVAC experience, and general maintenance knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, apartment turnovers, grounds, lighting, and more. The ideal candidate will utilize excellent communication and a cheerful outlook, be initiative-taking, diligent, own basic hand tools, have basic computer and/or smartphone skills, and possess a valid driver’s license with a reliable truck or van for work use and auto-insurance. Willingness to submit to a drug and background check is required.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in multi-family residential maintenance.
  • HVAC experience.
  • General maintenance knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, apartment turnovers, grounds, lighting, and more.
  • Utilize excellent communication and a cheerful outlook when addressing residents’ needs.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Keen focus on delivering high-quality work and maintaining thoroughness in a busy environment.
  • Own basic hand tools.
  • Basic computer and/or smartphone skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a reliable truck or van for work use and auto-insurance.
  • Willing to submit to a drug and background check if offered the position.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize skills in electrical, plumbing, groundskeeping, apartment turnovers, appliance repair, carpentry, locks and keys, and lighting.
  • Complete work orders from residents at 2 locations while keeping the communities in pristine condition.
  • Address emergencies as situations arise or while on call.
