Maintenance Technician 3
About The Position
The Maintenance Technician III/Lead Tech performs skilled work in the specialized and preventive care, repair, and maintenance of heating and air conditioning systems, building systems, and equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC equipment, painting and texture work, household and commercial appliances, and general electrical, plumbing, and maintenance tasks. The role includes performing heating and air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and remodeling work; preparing unoccupied residential units for new residents; maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout the facility; and supporting residents’ quality of life in alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and core beliefs. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (the posting also lists 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Pay is $26–$32 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of previous experience in building maintenance or construction.
- Certification, license, or equivalent as required by state and/or local regulations to operate or repair certain equipment in a technical field such as HVAC, building trades, or building utilities.
- Current and valid driver’s license and a driving record free of major infractions.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC equipment, with experience in painting and texture work, household and commercial appliances, and general electrical, plumbing, and maintenance knowledge.
