About The Position

To support the reliability and performance of industrial machinery and equipment through vibration analysis, predictive maintenance, leak detection, oil analysis, and mechanical inspections while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards. This position works collaboratively with engineers and operations personnel to identify equipment issues, minimize downtime, and maintain overall machinery health and efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Currently holds an ASNT-TC-1A Level One (1) certification in Vibration Analysis.
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training in a petrochemical/ industrial field which includes mechanical and electrical instrumentation experience.
  • Ability to perform vibration analysis and predictive maintenance on industrial machinery
  • Ability to collect, document, and analyze oil samples for machinery health monitoring
  • Ability to analyze vibration spectrums, time waveforms, and historical trend data
  • Familiarity with industrial safety practices including confined space entry, working at heights using ladders and man lifts, use of breathing air equipment, and adherence to company safety and environmental procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in VA-Vibration Analysis and rotating equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and learn Motion Amplification Camera procedures and functions
  • Write and submit daily reports of PM work orders (scheduled routes) and non-PM work orders (unit requested work) pertaining to vibration analysis, oil analysis and other job-related duties.
  • Perform vibration analysis on various machines throughout all units.
  • Communicate and work with all units and department engineers to ensure machinery health.
  • Collect oil samples on various machinery and ship to our designated oil lab.
  • Analyze spectrums, time waveforms and history trends for vibration analysis.
  • Demonstrate exceptional teamwork and customer service; behave professionally; treat with respect and dignity.
  • Work outside normal shift hours as needed.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures including but not limited to, ISO, personnel, quality, environmental, health, safety, regulatory and company requirements.
  • Work with operation and maintenance to develop programs and projects to assist them complying with NTG (Nothing Touching the Ground) requirements.
  • Be active in Operation Clean Sweep, and ensure employees are aware of and accountable for pellet loss prevention, containment, cleanup and disposal.
  • Be active on the technician on-call rotation (call out schedule)
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
