About The Position

Provides support to new and existing work within the business line. The role maintains and repairs plant mechanical and electrical systems and, under supervision, performs troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance. It also involves maintaining inspection and maintenance records, operating monitoring systems, collecting samples, and properly disposing of waste materials. The employee is responsible for complying with all safety and project rules and performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school education or GED.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to solve practical problems and recognize impending mechanical or electrical system problems, taking appropriate action to prevent system loss or damage.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Typically 1 to 3 years of experience, emphasizing maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant mechanical and electrical systems.
• Under supervision, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems.
• Maintain inspection and maintenance records.
• Operate monitoring systems.
• Collect samples and properly dispose of waste materials.
