About The Position
Cadrex is searching for a Maintenance Technician III with advanced experience supporting metal fabrication and CNC production equipment, specifically laser cutting systems, CNC punching machines, and press brake machines. This role involves advanced troubleshooting and repair of CNC lasers, CNC punching machines, and press brakes, diagnosing complex issues across mechanical and electrical systems, and leading preventive and predictive maintenance programs. The goal is to minimize downtime through root cause analysis and continuous improvement. The technician will also support installation, commissioning, and optimization of fabrication equipment and serve as a senior technical resource on the production floor.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Direct, hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining metal fabrication equipment, including: Press Brakes, CNC Laser Machines, CNC Turret Press Equipment, Combo Machines (laser/punch)
- Experience working with leading fabrication equipment brands such as: TRUMPF, Amada, Toyokoki, Diamond
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex equipment issues independently, including root cause analysis
- Experience performing: Preventive maintenance (PMs), Diagnostics and troubleshooting, Emergency/breakdown repairs on production equipment
- Ability to read and interpret: Electrical schematics, Blueprints, Maintenance manuals and technical documentation
- Proficiency using: Diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment, Hand tools and power tools
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills for CMMS/maintenance tracking systems and documentation
