This position assists in equipment repair and preventative maintenance procedures in the operation of the facility. The role involves ensuring equipment operates correctly and efficiently according to production requirements, consulting with engineers and vendors, and troubleshooting equipment. The Maintenance Tech I must meet safety requirements, comply with all policies and regulations concerning safety, environment, vehicle, handling of food products, packaging, and ingredients. The role also includes participating as a member of the team, fostering cohesiveness, and supporting Simmons Operating systems principles and objectives. Other duties may be performed as necessary in support of business objectives.
