About The Position

The Maintenance Tech I role is responsible for performing emergency and preventive maintenance on production equipment and systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to support repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects, while strictly adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a clean work area. The position may involve additional duties as assigned and requires flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.

Requirements

• High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others.
• Basic machining skills.
• Basic welding skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a group.
• Must own hand tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work Permits.
• Outstanding attendance.
• Previous Maintenance Experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects.
• Safely accomplish assigned tasks.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies.
• Comply with safety regulations.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
