About The Position

This role is for a Maintenance Tech I on the 3rd Shift. The position involves performing emergency and scheduled maintenance on production equipment, systems, and machines. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams for repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects, ensuring tasks are accomplished safely and in compliance with regulations. The company is fast-paced, and the technician may be asked to take on additional or changing tasks. Maintaining a clean work area and performing other assigned duties are also part of the role.

Requirements

• High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills
• Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations
• Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others
• Basic machining skills
• Basic welding skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a group
• Must own hand tools
• Strong troubleshooting skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work Permits
• Outstanding attendance
• Previous Maintenance Experience
• Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects.
• Safely accomplish assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies.
• Comply with safety regulations.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
