Maintenance Tech - 3rd Shift
About The Position
Westerman, Inc., an employee-owned company, is a multiple site manufacturer of production and storage equipment within the oil, gas, and nuclear industries. Our equipment helps optimize well pad design, improve separation efficiency and lower overall equipment spend through high-performance surface separation and processing technology. Our equipment is setting new standards for performance and economics nationwide. Westerman, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician with a proven ability to troubleshoot advanced mechanical problems in an efficient and safe manner throughout the facility. This position is responsible for preventative and mechanical maintenance and must possess intermediate knowledge of machine repair. A successful candidate is a self-motivated problem-solver that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing
- Basic mechanical, welding and cutting skills
- Should be capable of reading mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints
- Good problem-solving skills, safety practices and attention to quality
- Basic computer skills
- Meter usage and ability to complete measurements
- Basic math skills
- Lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, confined spaced training
- May require CPR and first aid training
- Driving is an essential function of the job; clean driving record required
Responsibilities
- Complete mechanical repairs and make adjustments as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned.
- Successfully troubleshoot mechanical problems.
- Complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction.
- Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Other duties as required and assigned.
