About The Position

The Maintenance Tech I is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and presentable working environment. This role involves a variety of tasks including general cleaning, identifying and reporting maintenance issues, performing minor repairs, and assisting with events. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
Dusting and polishing surfaces to maintain a presentable and professional appearance.
Emptying trash and recycling bins for proper waste disposal.
Cleaning windows, walls, and light fixtures to contribute to a brighter environment.
Identifying and reporting maintenance issues such as leaks, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards.
Performing minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs or unclogging minor blockages.
Maintaining cleaning equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
Stocking supplies in restrooms and other designated areas.
Following all safety procedures, including wearing appropriate safety gear and adhering to guidelines.
Performing outdoor tasks such as leaf removal or lawn care, if required.
Cleaning specific equipment or areas depending on the facility's needs.
Assisting with event setup and cleanup.
