About The Position

The Maintenance Tech I performs emergency and unscheduled repairs on production equipment and carries out regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and systems. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams on major repairs, upgrades, improvement projects, equipment specifications, and proactive maintenance strategies. The technician must work safely, follow safety regulations, maintain clean and orderly work areas, and take on other duties as assigned. This fast-paced role may involve changing or additional tasks and requires willingness to work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• High school graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work with others.
• Basic machining skills.
• Basic welding skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a group.
• Must own hand tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Lockout/Tagout and Hot Work Permits.
• Outstanding attendance.
• Previous maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics.
