About The Position

The Maintenance Tech I performs emergency and unscheduled repairs on production equipment, along with regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and systems. The role supports major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects and collaborates with cross-functional teams on equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies. The technician must safely complete assigned work, comply with safety regulations, maintain clean and orderly work areas, and be willing to work overtime as needed. Additional duties may be assigned, and tasks may change in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work with others.
• Basic machining skills.
• Basic welding skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a group.
• Must own hand tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Lockout/Tagout and Hot Work Permits.
• Outstanding attendance.
• Previous maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics.
