About The Position

The Maintenance Tech I performs general maintenance at Asbury Grace Park, a personal care home in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. The role follows maintenance schedules and instructions from the Executive Director and established maintenance policies and procedures. The employee performs minor repairs, alterations, and additions; helps ensure community safety and regulatory compliance; coordinates with maintenance vendors; and assists with resident transportation and appointments as needed. Some experience with electrical work, plumbing, and painting is expected. The position is full time, scheduled for 80 hours biweekly, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with every other holiday required. The posting lists pay as $23.00 per hour in the Schedule & Pay section and $19–$22 per hour in Additional Information; pay is also described as based on experience. A Direct Care Staff Training Certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire, with the company providing directives.
