About The Position

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will maintain small- to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment for a healthcare client. The position is part of Engineering and Technical Services and involves preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and responding to emergency service calls across multiple facilities. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with an occasional weekend rotation approximately every two months. A valid driver’s license and general maintenance experience are requested. Strong troubleshooting skills, reliability, and a commitment to safe and efficient facility operations are essential.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2–3 years of job-related experience; a combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting or carrying loads of 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Organizational skills and a strong inquisitive mindset.
• General maintenance experience and strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
