About The Position

Responsible for the overall maintenance of all equipment and implementation of new equipment. Work is performed in shop conditions and can be in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit. This role involves troubleshooting, supporting, and repairing all production equipment, determining necessary materials and parts for repairs and stock, and installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and other related systems. The position also includes coordinating and participating in scheduled/preventive maintenance, completing necessary documentation, and designing and implementing the installation of new equipment and tools. Compliance with all company safety rules and policies is mandatory, along with performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, or lift up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures
  • Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces (if applicable)
  • Constant exposure to moving mechanical parts.
  • Constant reaching, grasping and fine manipulation with both hands and arms.
  • Constant standing and moving.
  • Occasional bending/squatting.
  • Occasional repetitive motion.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience in facility maintenance
  • 1+ years of electrical experience with certification
  • 1+ years of plumbing experience with certification
  • 1+ years of welding experience with certification

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, support & repair of all production equipment
  • Determine material, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stock.
  • Install, inspect, repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments
  • Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment
  • Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines
  • Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools
  • Must comply with all company safety rules and policies
  • Other duties as assigned
