We are seeking one (1) Maintenance Technician 1. Hourly compensation dependent upon your experience. Join us as we strive for excellence.

Requirements

  • Ability to calculate figures as needed, and knowledge and ability to read a tape measure.
  • Must be a self-manager and have a sense of urgency with assigned tasks and daily work orders.
  • Ability to learn and utilize electronic work order system.
  • Basic computer skills required for communication for proper use of electronic work order system.
  • Enthusiastic, positive demeanor and desire to provide exceptional guest services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all staff, guest, contractors and delivery drivers.
  • High school diploma or general education degree [GED], or one (1) or more years of previous experience in a related field of work.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle records check

Nice To Haves

  • Must be willing to acquire pool/spa certification for proper testing and equipment function within one (1) year of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains all aspects and cleanness of building exterior including garbage and recycling bins throughout the campus twice daily.
  • Responsible for minor repairs throughout the entire hotel and campus, to include minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Basic knowledge in painting, staining and sheet rock repair.
  • Basic knowledge of pool and spa equipment function and operations.
  • Basic knowledge in the operation and functions of all types of power tools including drills, power saws, pressure washers and tools required to use by hands.
  • Able to recognize and provide actions needed to make sure all guest/staff environments are free of any hazards that might cause harm to any person at any time.
  • Ability to learn and maintain the operations of computerized controlled HVAC, electrical and life safety equipment.
  • Ability to track and maintain all required daily operations documentation and work orders.
