About The Position

The Maintenance Team Lead will be responsible for all Maintenance functions within the plant. This role involves supervising maintenance workers in electrical and mechanical work skills, managing scheduled and emergency work assignments, and providing direct supervision to ensure quality and completeness of work performed. The position also entails monitoring labor and material costs, coordinating and assigning work to craftsmen, and prioritizing machine repairs. Key responsibilities include ensuring proper communication between Production and Maintenance departments, monitoring spare parts usage and continuous improvement of part usage and cost, and improving the plant's mean time to repair (MTTR). The role also requires ensuring proper shift-to-shift communications, completing maintenance reports, conducting safety procedures, and providing training assistance and feedback for performance evaluations. The Maintenance Team Lead will perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Plant Engineer and ensure all ESH procedures, policies, and legal requirements are implemented and monitored. Note: This role may not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.

Requirements

  • AAS Degree in a technical field preferred or High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of mechanical or electrical maintenance/set up experience
  • 2 years of mechanical or electrical factory floor troubleshooting experience in manufacturing
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Responsibilities
