About The Position

The Maintenance Team Lead will be responsible for all Maintenance functions within the plant. This role involves supervising maintenance workers in electrical and mechanical work skills, managing scheduled and emergency work assignments, providing direct supervision during work, and ensuring the quality and completeness of performed work. The position is also responsible for monitoring labor and material costs, coordinating and assigning work to craftsmen, prioritizing machine repairs, and ensuring proper communication between the Production and Maintenance departments. Additionally, the role involves monitoring spare parts usage and continuous improvement of part usage and cost, monitoring and improving the plant's mean time to repair (MTTR), ensuring proper shift-to-shift communications, and completing maintenance reports. The Maintenance Team Lead will also conduct safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment, provide training assistance and feedback for performance evaluations, and perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Plant Engineer. Ensuring all ESH procedures, policies, and legal requirements are implemented and monitored is also a key responsibility. Requirements

  • AAS Degree in a technical field preferred or High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of mechanical or electrical maintenance/set up experience
  • 2 years of mechanical or electrical factory floor troubleshooting experience in manufacturing
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • No relocation assistance is offered for this position
