The Maintenance Team Lead will be responsible for all Maintenance functions within the plant. This role involves supervising maintenance workers in electrical and mechanical work skills, managing scheduled and emergency work assignments, providing direct supervision during work, and ensuring quality and completeness of performed work. The position also includes monitoring labor and material costs, coordinating and assigning work to craftsmen, prioritizing machine repairs, and ensuring proper communication between Production and Maintenance departments. Additionally, the role involves monitoring spare parts usage, improving part usage and cost, monitoring and improving the plant's mean time to repair (MTTR), ensuring proper shift-to-shift communications, completing maintenance reports, conducting safety procedures, providing training assistance, and performing other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Plant Engineer. The role also ensures all ESH procedures, policies, and legal requirements are implemented and monitored. This description may not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.
