About The Position

This role focuses on supporting the operation and upkeep of specialized testing equipment. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing both pneumatic and electrical systems, ensuring proper calibration and preventive maintenance, and managing spare parts inventory. The position requires collaboration with other teams to resolve technical issues and ongoing communication with suppliers for equipment support.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of pneumatic equipment and instruments, such as, pneumatic valves, high to low pressure regulators, air pressure boosters, high pressure compressors (3200 psi or higher).
  • Ability to work with high and low voltage AC and DC motors from 120 to 480 vac.
  • Knowledge of PLC and HMI units.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pneumatic and electrical equipment used on test rigs.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing both pneumatic and electrical systems.
  • Ability to understand and work with electrical/electronic components.
  • Knowledge of calibration and preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Experience with specialized testing equipment and understanding of its operation.
  • Previous experience in a technical support or maintenance role, preferably involving specialized equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with managing spare parts inventory and working with suppliers for equipment support.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with other teams and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pneumatic and electrical systems.
  • Ensure proper calibration and preventive maintenance of specialized testing equipment.
  • Manage spare parts inventory for all equipment.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Communicate with suppliers for equipment support.
  • Keep track of spare parts inventory for all the equipment.
  • Assist and monitor the yearly calibration of all test rigs and keep records of it.
  • Work together with test technicians and production supervisor to resolve daily issues related to seal testing problems.
  • Follow preventive maintenance program for all the test rigs, high pressure compressors, and all the testing equipment.
  • Initiate/drive communication with suppliers involved in the troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair process.
  • Read, understand and troubleshoot using general, electrical, and pneumatic type drawings.
  • Utilize adequate computer skills and knowledge of Office 365.
