About The Position

Tarantino Properties is looking to add a Software and Operations Support Specialist to join our corporate office in Houston, Texas. The Software and Operations Support Specialist is responsible for the ongoing support of the company’s property management software systems. This role bridges the gap between the operations, accounting, and IT teams to ensure software platforms support business objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and comply with regulatory standards. Tarantino Properties is a full-service real estate company specializing in income producing real estate. Founded in 1980, our company provides a full complement of property management, brokerage, leasing and renovation services for commercial, residential and senior living properties throughout the United States. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with property management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with coworkers, vendors, and on-site property management teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Highly detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to maintaining accuracy in all areas of work.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
  • NAA OR HAA Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the company’s property management software (RealPage products, Entrata, and Bluemoon).
  • Work closely with property managers, accountants, and leadership to ensure accurate setup of rent structures, fees, ledgers, and reporting tools.
  • Provide ongoing support for current users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with vendors to manage integration with other platforms (e.g., utility billing, leasing, CRM, maintenance, Marketing Syndication etc.).
  • Assist in the setup of new users in the system, ensuring appropriate access rights, and role-based permissions.
  • Maintain user permissions, data integrity, and system documentation.
  • Set up properties with the appropriate utility billing vendor to ensure timely payment of property utilities and accurate resident billing.
  • Update FCO and Flex monthly with information regarding new property takeovers and dispositions to ensure accuracy.
