About The Position

The Maintenance Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Maintenance team with updates on order status, maintaining Preventive Maintenance documentation, learning mechanical and electrical concepts, and electronic and verbal communications with suppliers and vendors. This role involves reviewing the maintenance support system for parts needed, assisting with locating, quoting, and purchasing maintenance parts & supplies, and picking up and delivering parts as necessary for the Maintenance Department. The coordinator will also assist with record keeping of maintenance parts & supplies, use maintenance CMMS software, maintain a safe and clean working area, assist Maintenance Technicians with repairs, and contact vendors for delivery status and to schedule repairs. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) or more years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, maintenance, warehouse, or technical support environment preferred.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts with the ability and willingness to learn maintenance processes and equipment.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to learn and utilize maintenance management software and other company systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Maintenance Technicians, suppliers, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Ability to safely handle parts, supplies, and materials required to support maintenance operations.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) or more years of experience supporting maintenance activities in a manufacturing, industrial, or oilfield environment.
  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Experience with maintenance parts identification, purchasing, inventory control, or vendor coordination.
  • Technical training, certification, or coursework in industrial maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting preventive maintenance programs and maintenance documentation.
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment, tools, and basic repair processes.
