About The Position
The Maintenance Supervisor leads maintenance operations for Camelia Apartments and The Retreat at 5700, two neighboring communities with 239 apartment homes in Brunswick, Georgia. This hands-on position handles plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs; oversees preventive maintenance; and helps maintain safe, well-functioning communities for residents. The supervisor leads and supports the maintenance team, coordinates with vendors and contractors, and communicates with residents and the property office.
Requirements
- HVAC certification.
- Apartment maintenance experience.
- Hands-on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair skills.
- Experience with preventive maintenance.
- Good communication and organization skills.
Responsibilities
- Complete service requests involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance systems.
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance for both communities.
- Lead, schedule, and support the maintenance team, ensuring work orders are completed on time.
- Prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
- Keep building systems, apartments, and common areas safe and in good working order.
- Communicate clearly with residents, the maintenance team, and the property office.
- Treat residents consistently and professionally in accordance with Fair Housing requirements.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
