Position Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the overall maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our facilities. This role will oversee a team dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality across all buildings and grounds within our community.Will perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years' experience in residential maintenance, security, housekeeping operations where applicable.
  • 1 year minimum of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to read architectural and mechanical drawings.
  • Knowledge of all key aspects of facility management (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and fire protection).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, safety and security of the community, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with maintenance employees, environmental services, and external contractors to address any issues promptly.
  • Maintain work order system to ensure the upkeep of the community’s physical assets.
  • Participate in on-call rotation (including off hours or weekends) for system and equipment failure and assist other departmental employees, when necessary, in completing various projects or repairs.
  • Order and maintain proper PAR levels for required materials.
  • Ensure that the community complies with all health, safety, and environmental regulations set forth by WEL, local, state, and federal authorities.
  • Conduct inspections, work orders, and facilities activities.
  • Conduct safety training as outlined by federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ensure that employees follow standardized infection control practices to prevent the spread of infection.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to the facilities staff, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
