About The Position

Provides exemplary service and maintenance to ensure Association-owned facilities and grounds are clean, safe, well-maintained, and welcoming. This role supports day-to-day maintenance operations, coordinates repairs and vendors, maintains maintenance records, and assists with community events as needed. About the Community: Having become one of the area's premiere destinations, this master-planned community is unlike any other. The look of the community draws upon the area's rural ranch character with groves of trees, wide grass-covered setbacks, and white rail fences. Multiple rows of trees line the streets, sidewalks, parks, and extensive greenbelts, creating a shaded environment for everyone to enjoy. In addition to its many residential neighborhoods, the community is home to a business center and town center, featuring a variety of shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and a broad range of neighborhood and professional services.

Requirements

  • Experience performing general maintenance and repair work in residential, commercial, or community settings.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating or overseeing vendors or contractors for maintenance services.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, inspection logs, and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Working knowledge of minor plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs.
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple work orders simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Customer-service mindset with a focus on professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials up to 50lbs.
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing, and reaching.
  • Ability to use tools, equipment, and controls effectively.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle to perform certain job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the tidiness, cleanliness, and overall appearance of Association-owned facilities and grounds.
  • Perform and oversee repairs and work orders, including coordinating and supervising outside vendors and contractors.
  • Perform hands-on maintenance work, including minor plumbing, minor electrical work, vinyl fence repairs, and general repairs.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule and related service records.
  • Maintain records related to equipment, assets, warranties, inspections, and service documentation.
  • Prepare bid specifications and make recommendations regarding the selection and award of maintenance-related contracts.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and grounds and prepare monthly inspection reports.
  • Perform a variety of labor-intensive maintenance and grounds work as required.
  • Assist with community and lifestyle events, including event set-up, break-down, and clean-up duties.
