About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead on-site maintenance staff in diagnosing and repairing issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliances. This role involves supervising and training maintenance and make-ready employees, overseeing property appearance, work order completion, shop organization, inventory control, and make-ready management. The supervisor will also ensure timely preventive maintenance and review safety procedures to ensure employee adherence.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of residential property maintenance experience
Excellent mechanical, electrical, plumbing & HVAC skills
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency and ability to learn new programs and processes
A valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and valid insurance required
Must have general tools to perform all maintenance tasks
On Call for all Emergencies
Maintains courteous and professional demeanor with residents, prospective residents, coworkers, and vendors

Nice To Haves

HVAC certification preferred
Yardi experience preferred

Responsibilities

Supervise and train maintenance and make-ready employees
Review and oversee property appearance, curb appeal, work order completion, shop organization, inventory control, and make-ready management
Ensure preventive maintenance is completed in a timely manner
Review safety procedures to ensure that all employees are adhering to the process
