About The Position

The Evenings Maintenance Supervisor leads the maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant equipment and systems. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities, managing work order execution, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership to maintenance technicians, partners with production teams, and manages vendor relationships to support operational goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with EAM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Experience managing vendors and contractors.
  • Leadership and team development skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians across assigned shifts; provide coaching, feedback, and performance support.
  • Plan, schedule, and prioritize preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize resources.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of work orders, parts usage, and maintenance activities in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.
  • Monitor equipment performance and reliability; lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Enforce safety standards, including LOTO, PPE compliance, and contractor safety requirements.
  • Partner with production and other departments to align maintenance priorities with operational needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including scheduling service work, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with site safety and quality requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including PM optimization and cost reduction efforts.
  • Assist in budget management by monitoring maintenance costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
