This role supports critical work that helps bring medicines and solutions to patients responsibly and efficiently. #WeAreLilly Job Summary Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient and effective execution of maintenance tasks to support manufacturing operations at Lilly del Caribe, Inc.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology) or equivalent vocational training and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role, preferably in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians across multiple shifts.
  • Plan, schedule, and assign maintenance work orders, prioritizing tasks based on production needs and equipment criticality.
  • Ensure timely completion of preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues on production equipment and facility infrastructure.
  • Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies within the maintenance department.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and procurement processes to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality departments to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and generate reports on key performance indicators.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide hands-on support as needed.
