About The Position

GCI Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Legacy Patriots Point, a new 176-unit lease-up residential apartment community in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. The role is empowered by the Property Manager to foster a collaborative work environment and help the maintenance team deliver high-quality customer service. The Maintenance Supervisor oversees facility operations and develops standards that support resident renewals and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

At least 3 years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience.
Prior supervisory experience.
Knowledge and experience repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry items, building exteriors, and appliances.
Ability to use electronic communication professionally and efficiently.
Dedication to exceeding customer needs and ability to build and maintain relationships.
Thoroughness, self-motivation, and organization when accomplishing tasks.
Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call hours.
High school diploma or equivalent.
EPA certification and substantial experience making HVAC-related repairs.

Responsibilities

Schedule service support to maintain the community’s overall appearance and ensure resident safety.
Provide technical and project direction to the maintenance team to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Troubleshoot and respond to a variety of residential service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare apartment homes for rent by performing repairs involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pools, carpentry, building exteriors, and appliances.
Control expenses and anticipate future maintenance needs.
Work with the Property Manager to create and maintain a community residents are proud to call home.
