About The Position

GCI Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Legacy Patriots Point, a new 176-unit lease-up residential apartment community in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Empowered by the Property Manager, the supervisor builds and maintains a collaborative work environment and guides the maintenance team in delivering high-quality customer service. The role supports facility operations and develops standards that contribute to resident renewals and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

At least 3 years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience.
Prior supervisory experience.
Knowledge and experience repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry items, building exteriors, and appliances.
Ability to use electronic communication professionally and efficiently.
Dedication to exceeding customer needs and ability to build and maintain relationships.
Thoroughness, self-motivation, and organization in accomplishing tasks.
Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call hours.
High school diploma or equivalent.
EPA certification and substantial experience making HVAC-related repairs.

Responsibilities

Schedule service support to maintain the community’s overall appearance and ensure resident safety.
Provide technical and project direction to the maintenance team to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Troubleshoot and respond to a wide variety of residential service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare apartment homes for rent by performing repairs involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pools, carpentry, building exteriors, and appliances.
Control expenses and anticipate future maintenance needs.
Work with the Property Manager to create and maintain a community residents are proud to call home.
