About The Position

At Corbion, we exist to champion preservation in all its forms, preserving food and food production, health, and our planet. In this role, you will lead maintenance planning, preventative maintenance, and rapid breakdown response for equipment and tools, as well as supervise team members, and subcontractors at our Tucker site. You will use our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to develop and execute preventative maintenance plans, support compliant work order management, and improve SOPs and work instructions that help the team work safely and efficiently. You will also play an important role in strengthening our safety culture, supporting Behavior Based Safety (BBS) practices, and partnering with operations, EHS, engineering, quality, procurement, and reliability teams to improve equipment performance, spare parts programs, and maintenance processes. This position blends hands-on technical troubleshooting and repair work with planning, coordination, and people leadership.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment; prior supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
  • Experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceutical, medical device, or food manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience with Equipment Asset Management (EAM) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS); SAP experience is preferred.
  • PLC and Rockwell automation experience is a plus.
  • Experience with 480V/3-phase electrical systems, pumps, valves, and instrumentation is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and manuals.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and plan maintenance tasks and resources.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude, with a commitment to safe, high-quality work.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for working with team members, contractors, and cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to review costs and operate within budget guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, support, and work alongside maintenance team members to complete preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, troubleshooting, employee development, timecard review, and performance evaluation activities safely, effectively, and in compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan, assign, monitor, and participate in daily maintenance work by reviewing planned and corrective work orders, defining scope, identifying required materials, tools, internal resources, and external support, and building work order schedules in partnership with QA, operations, contractors, and site leadership.
  • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance job plans with the Reliability Engineer; create, revise, and maintain maintenance-related SOPs, work instructions, and CMMS updates for Tucker site operations.
  • Coordinate contractor work by communicating schedules, job requirements, site rules, safety expectations, and performance expectations; complete post-job reviews to confirm work quality and completion.
  • Partner with area management to ensure equipment and work areas are available, support LOTOTO procedures, create work permits as needed, and perform work in accordance with security, housekeeping, quality, regulatory, environmental, safety, and health requirements.
  • Collaborate with procurement to source parts, materials, services, and contractors; solicit quotes when needed; create purchase requisitions in SAP; maintain accurate spare parts inventory; and initiate purchase requisitions for replacement equipment and materials.
  • Represent maintenance on capital projects by updating SAP with new equipment information, bills of materials, preventative maintenance schedules, plans, and spare parts in partnership with the Reliability Engineer.
  • Work directly with operations, quality assurance, reliability, and other partners to troubleshoot equipment and utility issues, support practical solutions, and contribute to Global Maintenance Platform improvement projects focused on proactive maintenance practices and effective use of SAP.
  • Lead or participate in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and other continuous improvement activities that support departmental and site goals.
  • Monitor maintenance expenditures and support management of the department budget.
  • Support other duties as business needs evolve.
