POSITION SUMMARY: Oversee and supervise all Maintenance activities for the facility to achieve production uptime and yield goals.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Must have the ability to analyze and troubleshoot equipment repair situations.
Must have prior hands-on mechanical experience.
Must have ability to troubleshoot process, mechanical, electrical systems;, PLC programs; motor VFD’s and other electronic systems.
Majority of work is done walking, standing, bending, and squatting. Must be able to climb and work overhead. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Must be able to read maintenance manuals and write instructions.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Must be a self-starter and be able to accomplish a versatile and evolving workload.
Excellent in all forms of communication.
Skilled at PowerPoint design and ideation.
Innovative, problem solver, flexible, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt well to change.

Responsibilities

Oversee all maintenance activities, including machine and facility troubleshooting and repair, preventative maintenance, and spare parts management.
Develop, maintain, and supervise maintenance staff within budget, including but not limited to scheduling, skill development, disciplinary action, and performance evaluation.
Organize and maintain spare parts and materials management system within budget to support maintenance activities, including accurate inventory accounting, sufficient stock quantities, sourcing, and procurement.
Develop, maintain, and execute equipment preventative maintenance system, using a CMMS(UpKeep-2023)in coordination with production requirements to achieve machine uptime goals.
Identify, procure, and maintain adequate machine tools to support the maintenance activities.
Oversee the mechanics are completing assigned work orders.
Employee is reponsible for following (and/or implementing/supporting/maintaining) Good Manufacuring Practices, Food Defense, Food Safety and SQF programs.
