Maintenance Supervisor
About The Position
At Techo-Bloc, we manufacture premium landscaping and outdoor living products used in some of the most impressive residential and commercial projects across North America. We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at our Douglassville, PA facility. This role is responsible for driving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and leading a skilled team of industrial maintenance technicians.
Requirements
- 5+ years of heavy industrial maintenance experience
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Proven experience leading teams in both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience troubleshooting/set up of VFD drives; SEW drives, Siemen, Lenze, & Allen Bradley
- Industrial electrical experience in PLC’s and plant automation.
- Ability to support multiple shifts
- Experience with Microsoft Office, CMMS, & ERP systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in concrete, foundries, aggregates, mining, or other heavy industrial manufacturing operations
- Experienced in heavy industrial mechanical repairs; rigging, welding & fabrication
Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee daily maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs across all shifts.
- Repair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans which involves working at heights, climbing ladders and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.).
- Plan and lead maintenance teams and external vendors during plant shutdowns and equipment installations.
- Train multi-craft maintenance technicians, ensuring that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Lead breakdown response and troubleshooting efforts and prioritize critical repairs to minimize downtime.
- Connect to PLC’s and VFD’s using laptop software to identify faults, monitor inputs/outputs, and support production troubleshooting.
- Support welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed.
- Identify and upgrade electrical components (VFD’s, I/O cards, PLC’s, etc.) to ensure proper inventory of spare parts are readily available.
- Reads and understands wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits; IO’s, OL’s, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical components.
- Manage and oversee outside contractors, vendors, and service providers performing work onsite.
- Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance procedures in WO system.
