About The Position

Monarch Investment & Management Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead operations at Union at Cooper Hill, a 281-unit community located in the Irondale area of Birmingham. This is a high-priority, immediate hire —we’re looking for someone who can step in confidently, lead a team, and keep the property running at its best from day one. If you're a skilled maintenance professional ready to take ownership and lead, this is your opportunity. This is a working supervisor role —you’ll lead by example while staying hands-on.

Requirements

4+ years of maintenance experience (apartment/multifamily) preferred
Prior supervisory or leadership experience
Vendor management and supply ordering experience preferred
Strong skills across plumbing, electrical, drywall, framing, carpentry
Welding experience is a plus
HVAC & EPA certification required
CPO certification required
Reliable, proactive, and ready to take ownership immediately

Strong Preference if BARD AC Unit knowledgeable

Responsibilities

Oversee and complete work orders & apartment turns
Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and carpentry
Lead and execute preventive maintenance programs
Supervise, train, and support maintenance team members
Maintain grounds and assist with seasonal needs
Partner with Property Manager on projects, budgets, and capital improvements
Ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards

Benefits

$28.00–$35.00 per hour DOE
Up to $4,000 annually in quarterly bonuses
