About The Position

Freeman Webb Company is hiring a hands-on, self-starting, troubleshooting- and budget-minded Maintenance Supervisor to oversee general maintenance at its apartment communities. The role involves repairing and maintaining the property, completing resident service requests, supporting curb appeal, managing the maintenance budget, and leading and training maintenance and grounds staff. The position requires participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Maintenance Supervisor experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems.
• EPA certification.
• CPO certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Yardi is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform necessary repairs throughout the apartment community, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
• Install new appliances as needed.
• Ensure resident-requested service orders are completed promptly.
• Help maintain the property exterior and keep curb appeal clean and acceptable.
• Oversee and manage the maintenance budget.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and health, safety, and environmental laws.
• Manage and train Service Technician and Groundskeeper staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
