About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day maintenance activities in our beverage manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all production equipment, machinery, and facilities are maintained in a safe, efficient, and reliable condition to support continuous high-quality production. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who prioritizes safety, preventive maintenance, and team development.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (beverage, food, or CPG industry strongly preferred)
  • Minimum 1 years of supervisory or lead experience
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and packaging equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be available for flexible hours, including nights and weekends when needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels and varying temperatures

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of PLCs, electrical systems, and basic welding/fabrication is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians on all shifts
  • Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance (PM) programs on production lines, conveyors, fillers, packaging equipment, and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment quickly to minimize downtime
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, GMPs, and food safety standards (HACCP, SQF)
  • Coordinate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance around production needs
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, parts inventory, and work orders
  • Train, coach, and develop maintenance technicians on technical skills and safety procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime
  • Monitor and manage department budget and spending on parts/supplies
  • Perform root-cause analysis on recurring equipment issues
