About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. This role is located at our Waukesha, WI facility. Relocation assistance will be provided. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for directing the specification, installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment and upkeep of the facility. The Supervisor will support site initiatives such as safety, production improvements, and OEE to help achieve financial and customer targets. You will also manage the maintenance budget to help achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial budget tied to output effectiveness of the operation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing people and/or teams in maintenance
  • Experience with ERP/Maintenance systems including SAP and CMMS (Maximo or Faciliworks)
  • Experience with Lean tools such as TPM, Process Mapping, and Mistake Proofing
  • Experience with project management fundamentals.
  • Understanding of IoT integration into new and legacy equipment and using real time monitoring for troubleshooting / early warning detection
  • Establish KPI's for the maintenance team, track results and report on regular basis.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts
  • Fundamental understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical systems and control systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead the maintenance team in troubleshooting and repair of various types of equipment including, but not limited to welding equipment, industrial robots, brake press, mechanical power press, powder paint, industrial laser cutting equipment, turrets, assembly equipment, conveyance, fans, blowers, motors, pumps, cylinders, and the control systems utilized within.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts, supplies, and materials required for effective maintenance and improvement of the facility, equipment, and tooling.
  • Maintain all necessary maintenance records and prepare required reports to monitor productivity, OEE, and PM effectiveness.
  • Lead talent development activities for the maintenance team; assess technical skills of the maintenance team; ensure maintenance knowledge and skills are developed.
  • Drive continuous improvement through maintenance activities.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
  • Participate in understanding and adhering to OSHA and EPA regulations, as well as MESH (as a specified MESH Champion). Make sure that equipment and processes meet all requirements.
  • Facilitate change management activities for facility, equipment and processes.
  • Ensure information flow to maintenance team on all Maintenance KPIs, company activities, policies, etc.
