About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for keeping the hotel operating smoothly and maintaining its appearance. The role handles day-to-day repairs and longer-term fixes, while proactively addressing maintenance issues. It also supports the safety, cleanliness, and efficient operation of areas inside and outside the hotel, including the car park and pool, and provides helpful, friendly service to guests.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education experience.
1–2 years of hotel maintenance experience.
Ability to work weekends and evenings.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Basic maintenance certification or accreditation.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Repair or replace items around the hotel and refurbish items in guest rooms.
Organize supplies and prepare equipment for the next day.
Follow safety guidelines and report incidents, dangerous conditions, or unsafe equipment to a supervisor.
Maintain the safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel, including the car park and pool.
Follow the preventative maintenance calendar and identify improvements to keep hotel equipment and facilities working efficiently.
Provide friendly assistance to guests.
Keep the manager or duty manager informed about low supplies.
Maintain a smart and approachable appearance in uniform.
Take on additional duties as needed by the team.
