About The Position

American Landmark Apartments, recognized as a top workplace nationally for five consecutive years, is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor for Beck at Wells Branch, a 576-unit residential community in Austin, TX. The Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in the efficient maintenance operation of the property, reporting to the Property and Regional Manager. This role may also involve due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, and participation in company committees or functions.

Requirements

• 3 years+ Apartment Maintenance experience
• 1-2 years maintenance supervisory experience
• EPA Universal certification required
• HVAC certification required
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling work orders
• Responding to work orders within 24 hours and ensuring follow-up calls are made
• Performing preventative maintenance and directly supervising all in-house and/or vendor work
• Ordering supplies and tracking inventory
• Coordinating apartment turn efforts
• Assisting the team with renewal and leasing efforts to achieve financial goals
• Interviewing, screening, and hiring maintenance staff
• Supervising and training all maintenance personnel
