We are seeking a highly qualified, experienced Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Supervisor manages and supervises the maintenance staff. Maintains physical condition of the property. Maintains relationships with suppliers, vendors and professionals servicing the company or property. Directs all activities of the Maintenance Department. The Maintenance supervisor as part of the maintenance team performs work orders, on call, make ready's and leads the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 Years Experience
  • Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role
  • Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations
  • Understanding of budgeting and performance management
  • Excellent planning and leadership abilities
  • An eye for detail
  • Computer Proficiency
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma; Degree from a vocational school will be a plus
  • Live within 30 minutes of the property
  • Own reliable transportation
  • Have a valid PA driver's license
  • Own your own tools
  • Strong trouble shooting skills
  • Be proficient in: Maintenance and repair tasks including, plumbing, electrical and light carpentry work.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and supervising the Maintenance Team
  • Preparing vacant rental units for occupancy.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the buildings and grounds.
  • Snow removal.
  • Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
