About The Position

Carteret Management Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of Blue Coral Apartments, a brand new community in Cape Coral, FL. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and a strong benefits package. The community consists of 72 units (1 & 2 bedrooms) and was constructed in 2026. Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
A minimum of 3 years prior maintenance experience.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.
Ability to perform general janitorial duties.
Ability to handle multiple priorities.
Ability to use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and saws.
Ability to safely use various power tools such as hand-held drills and circular saws.
Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups (on-site staff, vendors, residents).

Responsibilities

Ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times.
Direct and supervise the day-to-day administrative operations of the maintenance functions, including scheduling and assignment of work, submission of reports, paperwork, and record keeping in a timely manner. This includes invoices, time cards, employee counseling statements, and employee evaluations.
Perform various hands-on maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community, diagnosing problems and making repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywalling, painting, exterior structure, appliance repair, and cleaning.
Responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the maintenance functions, including vendor management, submission of reports, paperwork, and recordkeeping.
Handle service requests for repairs and improvements of vacant apartments to a market-ready status.
