About The Position

AUTOKINITON is a Tier 1 supplier of propulsion-agnostic structural automotive components and assemblies, with end-to-end engineering, manufacturing, and in-house logistics capabilities. The Maintenance Supervisor joins the Autokiniton – Belleville 2 team in a full-time, salaried role and reports to the Technical Services Manager. The position oversees maintenance work priorities and activities to support continuous production, improve operations, and lead hourly skilled trades colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Review job orders to determine work priorities.
• Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
• Coordinate workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.
• Assist in developing a preventive maintenance program with engineering and maintenance staff.
• Review production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
• Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
• Plan, develop, and implement methods and procedures to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and make greater use of labor and materials.
• Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies required for maintenance operations.
• Direct worker training to improve performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures.
• Provide direct leadership and supervision to hourly skilled trades colleagues.
• Identify, select, train, and coach colleagues.
• Model behavior that demonstrates corporate values.
