About The Position

Weinstein Properties is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor in Training for our location in Nashville, TN. This role involves working and training onsite alongside a supervisor with a full maintenance team, with future flexibility to transfer to another Nashville community for a supervisor role. The position requires managing and coordinating the activities of a service team to ensure efficient upkeep, inventory, and repair of property grounds and buildings, while also performing maintenance duties as part of the team. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances. The role also involves scheduling and supervising in-house and vendor work, sharing on-call duties, and maintaining professional maintenance practices to maximize rents and occupancy. The service team is customer-service driven, aiming to create a positive influence on visitors, prospects, and residents. Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of trade-related experience.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on apartment maintenance lead, assistant, or supervisory experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, interior/exterior maintenance, and carpentry.
  • EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal).
  • Hands-on HVAC repair experience required.
  • Computer skills: ability to use business software to assign and manage work orders, schedule turns, order supplies, and communicate via email.
  • Willingness to share on-call duties with other team members.
  • Valid driver's license, transportation, and tools required.
  • Must pass a DMV and background/criminal check.

Responsibilities
