About The Position

Weinstein Properties is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor in Training for their Bexley Mt. Juliet location. This role involves working and training onsite with a supervisor and a full maintenance team, with future flexibility to transfer to another community as needed. The position is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of a service team to ensure efficient upkeep, inventory, and repair of the property's grounds and buildings. The maintenance team diagnoses and makes repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywalling, exterior structural, and appliances. The role also includes assisting with scheduling and directly supervising in-house and/or vendor work. This is a 'working' lead role where effective performance of the service team maximizes rents and maintains high occupancy levels through professional maintenance practices, quality control, and adherence to policies and procedures. The service team is customer service driven, aiming to create a lasting positive influence on visitors, prospects, and residents. Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years trade-related experience.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on apartment maintenance supervisory experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance.
  • EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal).
  • Hands-on HVAC repair experience required.
  • Computer skills: use business software to assign and manage work orders, schedule turns, order supplies and communicate via email.
  • Willingness to share on-call duties with other team members.
  • Valid driver's license, transportation, and tools required.
  • Must pass a DMV and background/criminal check.

Responsibilities
