About The Position

New York City Transit is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor II (All Trades) for the Facilities Division. The position supervises subordinate supervisors in structure group specialties responsible for maintaining, installing, inspecting, testing, altering, and repairing Facilities assets. It helps provide a safe environment for employees and riders. The supervisor reviews stock availability against usage reports and anticipated needs, compiles and analyzes records, conducts investigations, and prepares reports. Other duties may be assigned. Work location and hours vary.

Requirements

• Five years of full-time satisfactory experience with a major railroad or transit authority.
• At least one year of the required experience must have been in a supervisory capacity.
• Current MTA employees must complete at least one year of service in their current role before applying.
• Eligibility to interview is contingent upon maintaining a satisfactory record of job performance, attendance, and disciplinary conduct.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in the use of EAM.
• Understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and navigate specifications.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Welding, iron, and electrical trades experience.
