We are looking for a Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our Millville, New Jersey Distribution Center. In this hands-on role, you’ll provide essential maintenance support across equipment and facilities while applying your knowledge of electrical components to keep operations running smoothly in our fiberglass pool distribution environment. As our Maintenance Specialist, you’ll handle a variety of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks with a focus on keeping industrial equipment and facility systems reliable. You’ll also support fiberglass pool detailing and minor repairs as needed.
Requirements
- Performed full facility maintenance, including plumbing, lighting, and structural repairs
- Conducted preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on industrial equipment to minimize downtime
- Troubleshot and repaired electrical systems, including motors, wiring, and control panels
- Operated Lull (telehandler) & forklift to safely move heavy materials, assist with loading/unloading
- Maintained accurate PM records of maintenance activities, inspections, and inventory
- Followed all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and proper handling of hazardous materials
- Supported general facility upkeep, ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Performed fiberglass/gelcoat repairs and detailing, including surface prep, patching, and finishing
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in full facility maintenance within industrial and warehouse environments
- Proficient in operating Lull-style forklifts (telehandlers) for material handling, loading/unloading, and equipment positioning
- Strong background in electrical troubleshooting, including wiring, motors, and control panels
- Experience performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial machinery and facility systems
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, lighting systems, and general building maintenance
- Basic welding experience (MIG/TIG/Stick) for equipment repair and light fabrication
- Skilled in using power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs on industrial machinery and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, including wiring, motors, and control panels
- Conduct occasional welding tasks for equipment repairs or fabrication
- Maintain facility systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and lighting
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and electrical safety standards
- Document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs; support monthly inventory counts
- Inspect, detail, and perform minor repairs on fiberglass pools and spas (including gelcoat work) in preparation for shipment or storage
- Assist with loading/unloading of pools and equipment using lift trucks or other tools as required
- Handle chemicals safely, dispose of waste properly, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Collaborate with the site team in a fast-paced outdoor environment
